ADM is looking for a Security Specialist SSR to join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Plans, develops, and analyzes security measures to protect critical information from counter-threats and possible attacks. Protects sensitive information by ensuring required software is functioning and being used correctly. Research new methods to improve digital security and eliminate vulnerabilities. Monitors and reviews user access logs and provides user usage reports to management.
Audits operations to ensure compliance with government regulations. Evaluates and recommends the installation, modification and replacement of hardware or software components. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
May act as lead. Typically requires BA and 5-7 years
Responsibilities
+ Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)- sponsored SSO Administration Course.
+ Knowledge of SSO requirements from applicable manuals, regulations, policies, and instructions.
+ Knowledge of SCI access procedures, Electronic Questionnaires for Investigation Processing (e-QIP) or follow on application, Defense Information System for Security) (or current DoD system of record for clearances), and Scattered Castles use and management.
+ Support Program Communication Security (COMSEC) account; ensure accountability of Crypto material, key and key-loading equipment.
+ Administer the receipt, control, and accountability of SCI.
+ Strong customer service skills; able to handle questions, complaints and requests.
+ Possess integrated security services skill sets in the following areas: SSO Operations; Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations; SCI Personnel Security; SCI Information Security; SCI Physical Security; SCI TEMPEST; and SCI Industrial Security.
Qualifications
+ Associate degree or higher.
+ Ten (10) years of experience (working on a SSO staff).
+ Active TS/SCI clearance.
