OFFICER POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide superior guest service to both internal and external guests while ensuring an honest, safe and secure gaming experience in a pleasant environment. Observes and reports violations to immediate supervisor and takes the appropriate actions.
 
TRAINER POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide effective training and coaching to new Officers on all departmental and company policies and procedures. Ensure trainees obtain and retain the knowledge and training necessary to successfully fulfill their job duties independently.
 
OFFICER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide guest service consistent with departmental standards.
 
Maintain a professional, friendly appearance and demeanor at all times and in all situations.
 
Able to follow the directions of Security Supervisors, Lead Supervisor, Manager, and Director in timely and professional manner
 
Able to maintain calm in stressful situations and document in a concise, accurate and chronological order a report regarding the events of that situation
 
Ensure that gaming rules, Casino policies and procedures, internal controls and MICS are followed and document any violations.
 
Other work-related duties as assigned
 
TRAINER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide ongoing training to Officers on the daily shift duties and functions of the department as needed.
 
Provide one-on-one training with new Officers and ensure all departmental and company policies and procedures are performed as required.
 
Keep abreast of policy or procedural changes and ensure all training performed is up-to-date with all departmental standards.
 
Provide frequent progress reports on trainees to Supervisors.
 
Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or GED required
 
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
One year security experience preferred
