STARTING WAGE: $ 16.57 PER HOUR
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring positive guest experience, set-up, maintenance, and operation of the bar.  Utilizes computer system to reconcile customer bills and payments.  Responsible for end-of-shift reconciliation.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Include the following (other duties may be assigned):
 
Greet guests in a professional, friendly manner and explain specials, food and beverage ingredients, and up-sell, suggest, and take orders.
 
Side work as directed and specified, including bussing bar and bar tables.
 
Mix and serve beverages, including glass and bottled wine, bottled and draft beer, for bar/lounge guests and dining room following standard recipes.
 
Assure entry of all food and beverage items into computer system in a timely manner.
 
Assure that all containers (salt, pepper, ice bins, condiments, towels, jelly, mini-moos, etc.) are full and all stocked (glasses, items in bar reach-ins, etc.) is accurate.
 
Clean reach-ins and bleach towels or get new ones.
 
Deliver food and beverage items quickly and professionally using appropriate serving techniques at all times.
 
Assist servers as needed or required.
 
Communicate with guests to assure satisfaction, total bills and present to guests and process payments in timely fashion.
 
Comply with personnel and department policies and procedures at all times.
 
Address daily and general cleaning duties of the department.
 
Follow procedures related to paperwork, accounting and inventory.
 
Performs other general duties as directed by the Beverage Manager.
 
Assure compliance with all alcohol statues is enforced.
 
Recommend replacement or repair equipment, requisition bar supplies, alcohol, coffee and espresso beans, etc. to Bar Manager.

EDUCATION:                                                                                                                                                                                            High School Diploma or GED
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
One to two years bartending experience
